Job description

We are looking for an AEO & AI Search Analyst to join our large enterprise client in the South Bay. This Long-term Contract position focuses on strengthening brand presence across AI-driven discovery channels and search environments while turning performance data into practical recommendations. The role works closely with internal stakeholders and agency partners to deliver research, reporting, optimization guidance, and coordinated execution. This opportunity is best suited for someone who combines analytical depth with strong communication and project coordination skills.


Responsibilities:

• Track and evaluate brand visibility, citations, mentions, sentiment, accuracy, and share of voice across AI search platforms and answer engines.

• Uncover gaps in performance, identify areas where brand information is incomplete or inaccurate, and highlight opportunities to improve digital presence.

• Monitor developments in AEO/GEO/AI Search, and summarize trends, platform updates, risks and opportunities

• Build and maintain dashboards, benchmarks, and recurring reports that help teams measure results and prioritize next steps.

• Examine competitor performance in AI-generated results, comparison topics, and customer research journeys to surface strategic insights.

• Research changes in search, answer engine optimization, and AI discovery trends, then summarize key risks, opportunities, and market developments for stakeholders.

• Analyze search data to connect organic search behavior with AI visibility, including topic demand, user intent, keyword patterns, and content gaps.

• Recommend content improvements that strengthen clarity, credibility, structure, and citation potential across digital assets.

• Prepare presentation materials that translate detailed findings into clear business recommendations, progress updates, and action plans for leadership and cross-functional teams.

• Support project coordination by tracking timelines, deliverables, dependencies, meetings, and follow-up actions across marketing, PR, analytics, IT, legal, and agency partners.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in a related discipline.

3–5 years of experience in search analytics, SEO, content strategy, digital marketing, or a closely related field.

Hands-on familiarity with answer engine optimization, AI search visibility, and performance analysis across modern search platforms.

Strong ability to interpret data, develop reports, and turn findings into clear recommendations for business partners.

Experience creating presentations and communicating insights effectively to stakeholders with varied levels of technical knowledge.

Demonstrated project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage priorities across multiple workstreams.

Working knowledge of competitor analysis, content optimization practices, and search performance measurement.

The analyst will have a strong SEO foundation and hands-on experience with AEO, GEO, AI Search, AI visibility.
