Job description

My name is Jim Guerrera, Managing Director of SCN.

Thank you for viewing this job opportunity and allowing me the opportunity to tell you a little bit about who we are, and what we are looking for.

SCN is a private, independently held Search Consulting organization, located in a modern office building in Novi, MI. We have approximately 30 people putting their best foot forward for us on a daily basis. We work with companies that manufacture engineered products and specialize in the placement of Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing positions.

These are the Industry Areas of Focus

• Industrial Products

We offer a unique and different service that is value-based.

We provide incredible service.

We have updated and modern approaches to obtaining client work, and also in attracting people for our clients.

We are one of the top 150 Firms in the country based on the nature of our work, and we are looking to expand.

We are committed to a unique brand of marketing, that helps us tell our story to the market.

It literally feels like we are just getting started, even though we are well known and established. This is what is exciting to me. There is so much work still to do to get where we want to be.

If you are a good-fit candidate for SCN, I’d love to tell you more about our ambitious goals, and how we are going to get there.

But for now, I’d like you to know this: we are a premier choice for recruiting in the industries we serve.

This is a noble profession. We help build companies. We help people find incredible career opportunities. We impact lives.

What I have found over the years, is that the policy of uncapped commission is interpreted differently by everyone. The ones who have traditionally done well with us, embrace the opportunity provided for uncapped commissions, and thrive in the pursuit of growing their Search Consulting Desk here at SCN.

Let me be clear. We do also offer a base salary. We offer benefits, retirement, etc. All the things that are necessary to attract top people. But the opportunity to earn uncapped commissions (compared to a capped bonus target for example) is a great attractor for the right-fit SCN candidate.

A sales background is ideal for stepping into a role as a Search Consultant here at SCN. But it’s not necessary.

This is a phenomenal time to become a Search Consultant. If you are highly motivated and growth aggressive and you have the background requirements identified above, then please contact send me your resume immediately. I welcome the discussion.

Here is my direct email address: jim.guerrera@SCNteam.com

Thank you for the consideration.
