Job Title: Project Manager I (Project Scheduler)

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Work Hours: 8:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to support planning and execution of projects by developing, maintaining, and optimizing detailed schedules. This role is responsible for coordinating with cross-functional teams, tracking progress, identifying risks, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, proficiency in scheduling tools, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, including tasks, dependencies, durations, and resource assignments using scheduling tools such as MS Project.
  • Collaborate with project managers, internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to align on timelines, deliverables, and project objectives.
  • Monitor project progress against established schedules and identify risks, delays, or bottlenecks.
  • Analyze scheduling data and performance metrics to forecast potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present regular status reports on project timelines, milestones, and overall health to management and stakeholders.
  • Support resource planning and allocation to ensure optimal utilization and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Provide recommendations on schedule adjustments, recovery plans, and process improvements.

Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Proven experience in project scheduling, planning, or project management support.
    • Proficiency in project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or equivalent software.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret project data.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a regulated or technical industry environment.
