Project Coordinator

Primary Location: Kitimat, BC

Employee Status: Full Time

SalaryRange: $60k to 85k per annum


The Company & Project

Bridgemans Kitimat Crew Management Ltd. is a fully integrated marine service provider, equipped with marine-certified crew and a fleet of unique assets servicing industrial projects around the world.

The Opportunity

This position will be responsible for ensuring quality compliance in marine construction and demolition projects through inspections, monitoring, and coordination with project teams.


Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems for marine construction and demolition projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Identify quality issues, non-conformities, and potential risks; recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate quality documentation, reports, and records.
  • Support HSE and project managers in implementing quality and safety protocols.
  • Monitor and verify materials, equipment, and work processes for compliance with standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to project staff on quality procedures and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil/marine engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in quality coordination or quality assurance in marine construction or demolition projects.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards, quality management systems, and HSE regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficient in quality documentation, reporting, and inspection procedures.
