  • Organize, plan, and manage your territory to drive revenue growth with strategic sales and marketing plans.
  • Act as a consultant by presenting the most mutually beneficial solutions to ideal Dayton Freight customers.
  • Develop long-lasting relationships with all levels of the customer’s organization.
  • Hunt down new business opportunities and turn prospects into loyal customers.
  • Build real connections through regular on-site visits, business reviews, pricing negotiations, and off-site entertainments.
  • Partner with operations and service teams to create smooth, reliable customer experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Sales, Marketing, Business, or related) or 5+ years of sales experience
  • A track record of achieving sales goals
  • Valid driver’s license + readiness to hit the road
  • Strong communication skills and a natural talent for building relationships

  • Experience in LTL or transportation (you speak the language!)
