Job Title:Sterile Supply Technician 2Department:University Hospital | Central Sterile Supply

Sterile Supply Technician 2 performs routine tasks associated with the cleaning, inspection, sorting, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment. This includes decontaminating reusable instruments, completing post decontamination responsibilities, assembling instrument sets, peel packing/wrapping and preparing trays for sterilization, completing the sterilization process, ensuring proper storage, maintaining eyewash stations and records. The role requires adherence to established protocols and standards to support patient safety and efficient surgical procedures. This is an entry level position that works under the supervision of senior sterile processing staff and leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred. Strong customer service and time management skills.
