Directions for Youth amp; Families offers community-based mental health and prevention services that utilize a resiliency-oriented and trauma-informed framework. DFYF’s programs are divided into 3 categories: Treatment, Prevention, and Education. DFYF offers specialized mental health counseling, kindergarten readiness, afterschool and summer programming to meet the diverse needs of our youth and family population. Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Clinical Program Manager to join our team. The Clinical Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of clinical programs within our organization. This role is essential in fostering a supportive and professional environment for staff. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in behavioral health and in particular working with youth and families.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide staff management including hiring, development, training, performance management, communication, and corrective action for staff to promote professional grown and effective program operation
  • Provide leadership and guidance to program staff
  • Reviews, signs off and provides feedback on diagnostic assessments and treatment documentation.
  • Collaborate with management to establish program goals and objectives.
  • Monitor program outcomes and make necessary adjustments to improve performance
  • ​Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Professional license at the LISW-S or LPCC-S level
  • Ability and comfort with clinical consultation
  • Ability to apply a trauma-informed approach
  • Experience approving treatment plans, diagnosis and session notes
  • Experience managing staff, providing feedback and aiding in the professional development process
  • Experience working with youth and families in a behavioral health setting
  • Minimum 1-year supervisory experience
  • Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities
