Title Insurance Business Development Officer

Do you have a proven track record in the title insurance industry and a passion for building strong, strategic partnerships? We're looking for an experienced title/escrow professional to serve as a Business Development Officer for the Ohio territory-someone who understands the nuances of our business and knows how to drive growth through trusted relationships. In this high-impact, client-facing role, you'll connect with realtors, lenders, builders, and other partners to promote our services and grow our market presence. If you're ready to leverage your title expertise in a results-driven, relationship-focused position, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do: Position Highlights
  • Execute strategic plans to meet or exceed monthly goals
  • Prospect and generate new business through cold calling, networking, and referrals
  • Build and nurture relationships with realtors, lenders, builders, and other referral sources
  • Deliver engaging sales presentations that clearly communicate our value
  • Maintain accurate client records and track activities in the company CRM
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth processing and excellent client outcomes
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to stay one step ahead
  • Represent the company at community and industry events (Chamber of Commerce, Realtor boards, etc.)
  • Participate in team sales meetings and continuous professional development
What You Bring: Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of successful title insurance sales experience REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work/training experience
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to build trust and influence decision-makers
  • Self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region
