Job description

We are seeking a Compensation Analyst!

Franklin County, OH

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is a community-minded, forward-thinking behavioral health organization helping people along the road to health and well-being. We meet people in their homes and communities and help connect them to the resources they need. We serve Southeastern and Central Ohio with a comprehensive array of behavioral health and other services – working with local partners to promote healthy people and strong communities. All of our services are intended to be collaborative and personalized for the individual.

The Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization’s compensation programs by conducting job evaluations, analyzing market data, and supporting the development and administration of salary structures. This role helps ensure internal equity, external market competitiveness, and consistent and equitable compensation practices across the organization.

The pay range for this position is $65,000.00- $75,000.00 annually based on experience, education, and/or licensure.

Essential Functions:

  • Evaluates and audits job descriptions to ensure compensation accuracy, consistency, and alignment with organizational compensation practices.
  • Conducts job evaluations, analyzes market pricing, and supports job architecture, leveling, and makes recommendations.
  • Partners and collaborates on timely resolution of compensation-related issues, ad hoc market analyses, offer letters, compensation adjustments, compensation related education/training.
  • Maintains internal compensation systems.
  • Analyzes internal and external compensation data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Supports the development, implementation, and administration of compensation policies, procedures, and salary structures.
  • Collaborates with HR business partners, managers, and leadership to ensure compensation practices align with operational needs and compliance requirements.
  • Supports annual compensation review processes and provides recommendations based on data-driven analysis.
  • Maintains incentive compensation administration.
  • Creates compensation-related documentation, reports, and records with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
  • Travel within designated service area.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Education/Licensure:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, finance, or a related field is required.
  • Compensation certification or related HR credential is preferred.

Experience:

  • 3 years’ experience with compensation analysis, job evaluation methodologies, salary structures, and market pricing is required.
  • Experience using Salary. Com, or similar job description management and market pricing tools is preferred.
  • Experience with various human resource information systems (HRIS) is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced analytical skills and ability to interpret compensation data are required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, is required.
  • Advanced communication skills, both oral and written, are required.
  • Advanced organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information is required.
  • Ability to manage deadlines within a fast-paced, high-volume environment is required.
  • Ability to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment is required.
  • Ability to maintain a high-speed internet connection is required.
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle is required.
  • An appropriate level of auto insurance coverage is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
