Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Client Support Specialist - Onsite position with a Technology Company located in Columbus, OH. This is a 6+ month contract to hire opportunity.
Compensation: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications
Position Overview:

This position is responsible for providing comprehensive wireless support for client operations, troubleshooting end-user problems, and supporting the Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong drive for customer service and mobile technology, with a unique opportunity for a career path toward project management. The role begins full-time in the office with the potential to become hybrid after six months based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and track new hire phone requests, create and submit device orders, and coordinate delivery
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 customer support for activating new equipment, troubleshooting issues, and corporate email setup
  • Manage activations for new accounts and personal to corporate account transfers
  • Provide White Glove support and process ad-hoc upgrade requests for the VIP/executive team
  • Serve as a liaison between General IT support groups and cellular carriers
  • Manage all wireless device and service orders, including monthly cancellations for zero-use lines
  • Create and maintain documentation updates
  • Coordinate mobile off-boarding in alignment with HR
  • Participate in recurring meetings to stay updated on account activities
  • Assist Program Managers with various projects and assignments

Primary Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two (2) years of experience working with wireless carriers
  • Experience or understanding of Mobile Device Management (MDM) (e.g., Microsoft Intune) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) products
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Experience with virtual presentation solutions (e.g., WebEx, Teams, BlueJeans)
  • Excellent customer service skills with experience providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support
  • Ability to lead demonstrations and presentations in both virtual and physical environments
  • Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
  • Capability of handling confidential documents and securing information
  • Must be reliable with good attendance and professional communication skills

Desired Skills:
  • Experience creating presentations
  • Experience with or knowledge of the ServiceNow ticketing system
