Job description

Global Finance Business Partner
Allied Mineral Products is a leading manufacturer of monolithic refractories worldwide, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. We are currently seeking a Global Finance Business Partner to provide financial leadership and strategic support across our international operations. This role partners closely with regional finance leaders, operations teams, and executive management to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and actionable insights that drive profitable growth. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on finance professional with strong analytical capabilities, global business experience, and the ability to influence and collaborate across cultures and geographies.
This position provides exposure to international operations, executive leadership, and strategic initiatives, making it an excellent opportunity for a finance leader seeking broad impact and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, analyze, and support monthly financial reporting for global affiliates, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance
  • Partner with affiliate finance teams to strengthen internal controls, standardize processes, and improve financial discipline
  • Provide clear financial analysis, variance explanations, and insights to executive management and operational leaders to support informed decision‑making
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning processes at the affiliate level
  • Consult on treasury, banking, and risk management activities as needed
  • Collaborate with affiliate finance teams to improve cash flow through working capital optimization initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts, including automation, system enhancements, efficiency projects, and other value‑add initiatives
  • Support special projects, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives as required

Qualifications amp; Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred)
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including experience supporting global or multi‑entity organizations
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with international teams across diverse cultures and time zones
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable business insights
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and financial reporting tools; advanced Excel skills required
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive process improvement
  • Willingness to travel internationally to support affiliate finance teams
