What You'll Do

Step into a highimpact leadership role shaping statewide financial operations for Ohio. As the Financial Support Services Manager, you'll lead a dynamic team, drive enterprise standards, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial activity across state agencies.

  • Lead and develop Financial Program Managers while setting enterprise direction for key financial modules like Accounts Payable, Supplier Operations, Travel & Expense, eSettlement, and 1099 processing.

  • Build and enforce statewide financial transaction standards, approve system and process changes, and recommend updates to policies, rules, and legislation.

  • Oversee agency purchasing and payment reviews to ensure legal compliance, accuracy, and proper authorization.

  • Resolve complex financial issues, safeguard statewide records and reporting, and guide performance through clear goals and metrics.

  • Strengthen Supplier Operations and Travel & Expense functions with robust governance and fraudprevention controls-keeping statewide travel policy on track.

  • Represent the agency with DAS, OBM, federal partners, and other stakeholders.

  • Support PCard program administration and ensure compliance, fraud prevention, reconciliation, and coordination with OBM and U.S. Bank.

  • Take on additional responsibilities that support statewide financial excellence.

-Or 12 mos. exp. as Financial Program Manager, 66585.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above. NOTE: Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may be substituted for 4 mos. of required accounting/fiscal experience referenced in this portion of the minimum qualifications.
