Job description

What You'll Do:

Join our team as a strategic leader overseeing key lines of business that support statewide financial operations, including Financial Services, CRM/QA Customer Support, and Contact Center operations. This role guides multiple program areas, ensuring consistent enterprise standards and strong operational performance. We are seeking a collaborative, forward thinking manager with deep expertise in financial management, enterprise systems, and staff development.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Plan, direct, and manage assigned lines of business.
  • Review proposals from agency managers and program leaders and provide recommendations.
  • Coordinate with leadership to set strategic direction for State Accounting and Support Services and authorize enterprise-wide processing standards and practices.
  • Establish, implement, and monitor goals, objectives, and performance metrics.
  • Supervise and develop financial managers and OAKS module business leads, set enterprise module direction, and recommend policy, legislative, or system changes.
  • Manage fiduciary operations, negotiate with external entities, coordinate year end close, and oversee key financial reporting and correspondence.

  • 66 months experience or 66 months training financial administration; 12 months experience or 12 months training in supervisory principles & techniques. 

  • Or completion of undergraduate core program in public or business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 42 monts experience or 42 months training in financial administration; 12 months experience or 12 months training in supervisory principles & techniques. 

  • Or completion of graduate core program in public or business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 30 months experience or 30 months training in financial administration; 12 months experience or 12 months training in supervisory principles & techniques.

  • Or 12 months experience as Financial Manager, 66586. 

  • Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
