Where does a histologist work?

Career: Histologist

A histologist can work in a number of healthcare and clinical settings, including hospitals, universities, public health centers, pharmaceutical labs, and forensics labs. Some histologists also work in the veterinary sciences, and if they have training in animal histology, they can work at a vets office, zoo, or animal-related clinic, for example. Some histologists consult with medical device manufacturers and help design new equipment for the field. Histologists mainly work in a laboratory setting, and their other responsibilities include keeping the lab and workstations clean and orderly.
