Where does a forensic photographer work?

Career: Forensic Photographer

A forensic photographer works wherever they're needed, from suburban and city dwellings to rural areas. Forensic photography focuses on recording the initial appearance of crime scenes and potential evidence to create a permanent record. This usually means traveling to crime scenes as quickly as possible, particularly in situations where a delay could affect the appearance of the evidence. Outside of going to crime scenes, some forensic photography takes place in morgues and hospitals where staff take photographs of injury sites before, during, and after treatment. Forensic photography jobs are most common in populated areas.
