Where do x ray technicians work?

X-Ray Technicians work in hospitals, physicians’ offices, or in diagnostic laboratories. In addition to operating the radiologic equipment to produce images, X-Ray Technicians complete administrative tasks to ensure detailed patient records of all images are properly kept. X-rays are performed in sterilized rooms, with the Technician taking care to properly protect the patient and themselves from excess exposure to radiation.
