A pediatric audiologist is a health care professional who diagnoses and treats children with hearing loss and speech or language difficulties. They can work in many clinical settings, such as a hospital, rehabilitation center, or private practice. A pediatric audiologist may also work as a teacher or researcher, spending a great deal of time in a university or laboratory setting. Career qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, followed by a doctorate in audiology.
