Where do nurse anesthetists work?

Nurse anesthetists can find jobs in a variety of settings, including hospitals and surgery clinics. In all cases, nurse anesthetists work in sterile surgical settings as well as in the recovery room. The job duties—speaking to the patients regarding the procedures, preparing the proper anesthesia, administering it, monitoring the patients through recovery—are similar regardless of where you work.
