Where do key holders work?

Career: Key Holder

Key holders work primarily in retail establishments or restaurants. Any business that has to lock the door upon closing has at least one key holder. This is often a manager, because they have increased responsibility for the store. Often, key holders must deactivate a security alarm after unlocking and opening the door, and activate the alarm prior to leaving at night. This helps to deter break-ins. There is no set position known as a key holder; rather, it is just a way to refer to someone with the increased responsibilities of opening and closing the store.
