Where do IT specialists work?

IT specialists work in organizations that rely on technology for some or all aspects of their operations. Most large companies hire a team of in-house IT specialists who are experts in that particular company’s software needs. Smaller organizations may outsource their IT needs and utilize IT consultants from technology companies. Some IT specialists are able to work remotely from home, but may need to travel to their client’s office to perform training or repairs.
