Where do healthcare consultants work?

As a consultant, you typically work for a firm, but you do the majority of your work in the field. You may spend little time at your actual place of employment. You complete your duties primarily at your current consulting location, which is most often a hospital setting. Hospitals are the most common location for consultants to work, but you may work at pharmaceutical firms or the offices of other healthcare providers and medical labs. Government agencies may also utilize healthcare consultants from time to time, as do medical device companies and insurance companies. Your workplace can vary from gig to gig, but you can expect to be in an office setting of some sort.
