Where do HVAC technicians work?

HVAC technicians work at client locations where they perform maintenance and repair services on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. As an HVAC technician, you can have a permanent assignment at one particular facility, or you may work for a single entity, such as a school district. Alternatively, you may work for an HVAC repair company and respond to service calls at many different locations each day. Much of your HVAC technician work is indoors, usually in basements or back rooms, but you may also have to do repairs and service to equipment outdoors.
