Where do groundskeepers work?

Groundskeepers work at various types of hotels and resorts as well as housing developments, apartment buildings, office buildings, college campuses, and golf courses. As a groundskeeper, you will usually work outdoors maintaining and updating the landscaping of the campus or complex where you work. Generally speaking, groundskeepers are expected to have a strong working knowledge of gardening and horticulture as well as yard equipment. They also may be expected to design and install new landscapes or ensure specialized areas, like golf courses, are maintained to certain standards.
