Where do forensic chemists work?

Forensic chemists spend most of their time in a crime lab or general laboratory. They may visit crime scenes for information collection and evidence examination. As a forensic chemist, you may also appear in court to present findings related to pending trials. A typical workday can be during the daytime, but some forensic chemists are on call with local authorities.
