Where do fine artists work?

Art can be created almost anywhere, so fine artists work in a wide variety of locations. Some maintain a studio where they work and others work from home. Other artists, such as installation artists, sculptors, or muralists, who create works of art that are integrated into the natural landscape, civic spaces, or a building’s façade, work on-site. Fine artists may be part of a large workshop or rent space in a loft or public warehouse with fellow artists. Those who showcase their work in galleries need to attend openings and interact with potential collectors and critics.
