Where do financial accountants work?
Career: Financial Accountant
Financial accountants are most commonly employed by CPA firms with multiple clients that outsource their accounting work to them. Individual businesses, especially large companies, often have an in-house accounting department and may employ financial accountants full-time or as independent contractors. Some financial accountants also work for the government in specialized positions to identify business and tax crimes (also called forensic accounting).
