As an electronics engineering technician, you work alongside electrical engineers and electronics engineers to assist with the design and development of components for computers, communications equipment, navigational equipment, and medical monitoring devices. You may work in a laboratory setting or in a manufacturing setting to contribute to assembly line production processes. Although it’s less common than factories, you could work in an office setting, handling tasks related to engineering theory.
