Where do draftsmen work?
Career: Draftsman
Since the bulk of a draftsman’s work is done on a computer, drafters spend most of their time working in an office setting. Some drafters, however, work from home. When they are not on their computers, draftsmen are traveling to meet with clients to discuss new project specifications or report on current projects. It is also common for draftsmen to visit job sites to see how the project they are working on is coming together and how their piece fits into the project as a whole.
