Clinical social workers work in a variety of health services. Private practice, hospitals, and local government require clinical social workers to treat patients. Clinical social workers can provide therapies and treatment that other social workers are not qualified to administer, and are therefore called upon when patients need them. Private treatment centers utilize clinical social workers as well.
