Where do chauffeurs work?

Chauffeurs work in a variety of settings and geographic locations. If you work for a luxury car service, you are based in their office or motor pool and are dispatched for assignments as needed. However, if you work directly for a client, you are with them most of the time, whether at their home, office, or out on the town driving them to meetings, to the airport, or on errands. With the rise of rideshare, the nature of the industry may change, but chauffeurs typically cater to clients that need a degree of privacy and security. Rideshare programs cannot as of yet cater to that clientele.
