Where do chaplains work?

As a chaplain, you work in many different settings, depending on where there is a need for your services. You can find chaplain jobs in hospitals, long-term medical care facilities such as Alzheimer’s homes and hospice houses, prisons and police departments, universities, religious schools, boarding schools, military bases, and even war zones. Although each of those settings has unique needs, your work remains focused on being a faith leader, providing spiritual guidance and religious services to promote the wellbeing of others.
