Also known as psychiatric technicians, many work in psychiatric or substance abuse hospitals, treating disorders like substance abuse, PTSD, mental instability, or problems stemming from physical and emotional abuse. A behavioral health technician may also work in a rehabilitation center or government-run mental health facilities.
