Where can a costume designer work?

Costume designers have a variety of responsibilities, and how you fulfill your duties affects the best places to work. Most costume designers work in one of four significant industries: television, movies, performing arts, and video games. The first three are broadly similar, as they all involve dressing actors up in the best outfit. As a video game costume designer, your duties are a little different. You may spend time working with motion capture technology and graphic artists to create digital outfits. In some cases, you must also ensure that clothing is realistic and can be reproduced to wear in the real world.
