Where can I work as a gate guard?

Gate guards work in a variety of different areas, including truck or lumber yards, corporate buildings and warehouses, and gated communities and complexes. You can either work directly for the corporation or community or for a private security company that has a contract with the property. You can also work for government agencies as the gate guard at a government building. In these roles, you may have additional duties related to the sensitive nature of the location. All gate guards work in small to medium enclosures outside of a private, gated entrance to a complex to verify all those who enter and leave the premises.
