Where can environmental services managers work?

Career: Environmental Services Manager

Environmental services managers work in a variety of commercial facilities, including hospitals where cleanliness standards, patient safety, and infection control are of utmost importance. There are also job opportunities in hotels, large facilities, organizations, and businesses. Standards for these positions are not usually as particular as in a hospital and may require less experience. Working in a manufacturing plant requires knowledge of environmental compliance processes and laws such as the Clean Air Act and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, as well as familiarity with state and local environmental agencies. Some of these positions also require a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field.
