What to expect working as a software engineer?

Working as a software engineer, you can expect to work with computers throughout the day. As part of your responsibilities, you troubleshoot programs, install and debug applications and software, edit code, and develop solutions to technical problems. Engineers work on a team to help develop and test operating system software, perform relevant research, address bugs and errors in the code, and ensure distribution is problem-free throughout the organization. You use principles of computer science, engineering, and mathematics to come up with project ideas and solutions to digital challenges.
