What is an expeditor?

As an Expeditor, also known as an Operations Facilitator, you’ll help your company attain and move the inventory it needs for efficient operation. You’ll stay in close communication with your company’s inventory team and related departments, in addition to supply vendors and shippers. You’ll place and track orders and problem-solve any delivery delays. Upon delivery, you’ll inspect shipments for quality and move them where they need to be. Career skills you'll need as an Expeditor should include organization, communication, and attention to details. The Expeditor is also responsible for improving the efficiency of supply delivery, ensuring communication between departments, maintaining production schedules and record project performance.
