Routesetters use climbing holds and volumes to craft engaging, safe, and progressive challenges for climbers of all skill levels. The job involves physical labor, creativity, and an understanding of movement, biomechanics, and risk management. Routesetters also maintain and adjust routes based on climber feedback and facility needs.
