What is a lib tech?

A Library Technician (Lib Tech) assists librarians in managing library resources, helping patrons, organizing materials, and maintaining records. They may work in public, academic, school, or special libraries. Duties often include cataloging books, checking materials in and out, and providing research assistance. Some library technicians also help with digital resources and technology services.
