What is a camera intern?

A Camera Intern assists the camera department with setting up and operating camera equipment, maintaining gear, and supporting the crew during shoots. They may help with lighting, focus pulling, and other technical tasks to gain hands-on experience. This role provides an opportunity to learn about cinematography, equipment handling, and on-set protocols.
