What makes a good student worker?

Career: Student Worker

A good student worker’s first priority is school. While you are at work, however, you are required to give your full attention to your duties. You must let your supervisor know well in advance if you need time off for class, finals, projects, or other academic commitments. You should use this opportunity to gain experience in as many different roles as possible. Do not be afraid to ask questions or ask for help. Your supervisors know you are new to the workforce, so they should be willing to help you hone the necessary work skills.
