What is the USMLE?

The United States Medical Licensing Examination, often abbreviated to USMLE, is a major medical test sponsored by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the Federation of State Medical Boards. This exam is usually taken while a student completes med school and a period of preparation, with study guides available to help applicants pass the exam and earn the qualifications to obtain licensure. A combination of scientists, teachers, and clinicians from multiple regions work together to ensure the exam content avoids location-based biases.
