What is the difference between machine learning, artificial intelligence, and deep learning?

Deep learning is when a computer program makes decisions about what to do with other information and data. As an engineer, you create deep learning environments by building layers of networks that analyze the data sets. Artificial intelligence (AI), meanwhile, is a broad term for a specialty that includes creating programs to do specific tasks and to alter these tasks based on incoming data. Machine learning is a part of the artificial intelligence field that focuses on using data to streamline or otherwise enhance the program as it works.
