As an order filler, your duties include packing merchandise, checking items and written orders to ensure accuracy, and tracking inventory and shipments through automated technology. You may also move products from the delivery zone to storage and communicate any order issues with managers or warehouse workers. Although the job is typically entry level with no formal educational requirements, you must have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, along with the ability to lift heavy objects and stay on your feet throughout the day.
