An investment manager is the person who collects all the information from investment analysts, combines it with their own knowledge, and then provides recommendations for sound investment to the client. In this role, you are the final decision maker, so you must conduct regular meetings with analysts and company managers. You also research companies, read financial briefings, maintain a strong understanding of the economy, and interpret complex financial data. This position requires the ability to effectively present to clients, handle high levels of stress, and work on a team.
