What is an entertainment agent?

An entertainment agent helps their clients find work in the entertainment (film and television), art, or music industries. Your duties include staying up-to-date on new opportunities for your clients, such as reading scripts that might have parts for your actors or finding a venue that would be a good location for a musical artist to perform. As an entertainment agent, you often work for a large talent agency, but can find work on a freelance basis.
