What is an education manager?

An education manager oversees the educational programs in a school or training center. As an education manager, your duties include managing curriculum development and staff implementation of that curriculum. In this career, you work closely with school directors, board members, and teaching staff. This job requires administrative skills as well as excellent communication abilities, and experience with day-to-day education needs. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or higher in education or a related field, and experience in teaching or school administration.
