What is an art model?

Art Modeling is a niche segment of the modeling industry where a person poses in front of an art class while students paint or draw their figure. Models are contracted by session and may be required to hold props or make specific physical gestures, as students study their form and practice their drawing and painting skills. Session length will vary depending on the school or class, but art models are typically given frequent breaks throughout the session duration.
