What is an air quality engineer?

An air quality engineer works on the monitoring and control of air quality. You could perform your duties in a variety of settings. Some air quality engineers work on pollution control and emission control for a manufacturing company or a government organization. Others work on contaminant removal or perform a chemical analysis to measure for toxicity and other health-related issues. In this career, you may also consult for companies on subjects like office air quality or workplace ventilation.
