What is a statistician internship?

In a statistician internship, your job is to help provide an analysis of statistical data for your company. You review reports, research demographic information, and use predictive modeling to help the company make business decisions. As a student, there are limits on what you're allowed to do, but you may be asked to lead or manage a small-scale project for the company. Regardless of the company you choose for this internship, your primary job is learning more about how to use statistics in a business environment and how to apply the knowledge you've acquired. Statistics interns usually work under a senior employee.
