What is a soccer coach?

As a soccer coach, you teach players how to play soccer, be part of a team, and train their bodies to be healthy and strong. You may work with adult players or youths as young as six years old, sometimes younger. Your job duties include devising and implementing training plans, running soccer practices, and helping your team strategize how to play against opposing teams. You can find soccer coach jobs in local grassroots soccer organizations, private soccer clubs, middle schools, high schools, universities, and professional leagues.
